Description:  Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Plumber/Irrigation Specialist in the Facilities Management Department. The appointee will report directly to the Plumbing Supervisor and will assist in facility repairs throughout the district.

 

Qualifications:    -

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Texas drivers license
• Texas Journeyman Plumber License 

 

Preference will be given to applicants who: 

• exhibit familiarity with building mechanics and skilled in the use of plumbing tools.
• display knowledge of plumbing systems including water, sewer and gas.
• possess the ability to read and interpret work manuals and blue prints.
• have the ability to maintain plumbing fixtures, sprinklers, boilers and heaters.
• have at least three (3) years of experience in plumbing industry.
• demonstrate effective communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
• have a service oriented personality.
