Description:        

Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Cabinetmaker in the Construction Services Department.  The appointee will report directly to the Construction Services-Casework Supervisor and will be responsible for the construction and installation of casework throughout the district.

 

 

Qualifications:    

The Cabinetmaker will have a High School Diploma or equivalent.  The appointee must have a valid Texas drivers license and meet eligibility requirements to operate a Mesquite ISD vehicle.

 

 

Preference will be given to applicants who: 

• have successful work experience in cabinet making, installation and general carpentry.
• demonstrate an understanding of building mechanics and skilled in the use of job related tools.
• have the ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, schematic and schedule form.
• demonstrate effective communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
• have a service oriented personality.

  

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
