Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Digital Marketing Coordinator. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will develop and implement marketing strategies shaping our online presence and the way we communicate the Mesquite ISD brand across all major client experience touchpoints. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will report to the Executive Director of Strategic Communications. The appointee will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's digital presence. This role involves developing and executing innovative digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, client loyalty, and engagement across various digital channels.

 

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.

 

 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Have three years of professional experience in digital marketing or relevant communications field.
• Strong knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
• Proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics GA4, and Google Business
• Ability to design, create and update print and digital materials in accordance with accessibility guidelines (Section 508, AODA, WCAG, PDF/UA)
• Excellent copywriting skills, capable of crafting compelling messages for diverse digital channels
• Ability to assist with other communication and marketing tasks as needed
• Experience with graphic design, photography, videography, and editing software is a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Inform and assist in the development of digital content and marketing strategies that result in high engagement and performance.
• Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns, including search engine marketing (SEM/SEO), social media, email, display and paid advertising.
• Collaborate with district departments/campuses to gather information and plan advertising campaigns from creative concept to content creation, production, and follow-up reporting.
• Develop accurate and compelling copy for a wide variety of marketing communications such as ads, social media posts, newsletters, emails, website, video, and more, with creativity and brand consistency.
• Monitor and manage Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profiles and other digital communication platforms (AYO).
• Work closely with the executive director, and communications coordinator to plan and publish relevant digital and social content.

Salary:       Pay Range:  Administrative Pay Grade 4 - $82,000 - $103,000; 226 days

 

                 Employment begins:   As soon as possible
