Description:  Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Custodial Services Trainer.  The Custodial Services Trainer is responsible for the quality training, in relation to the methods, and equipment associated with all aspects of the District's Custodial Program.

 

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Texas driver’s license

 

 Preference will be given to applicants who:

• Successful experience at supervising people.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work responsibilities.
• Knowledge of custodial cleaning processes, supplies, materials and equipment.
• Ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment and train on usage.
• Ability to properly use and store cleaning supplies and train personnel in the same manner.
• Ability in conducting inspections to determine compliance with standards.
• Knowledge of established safety procedures and techniques.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, guidelines and procedures.
• Demonstrate behavior that is courteous, ethical, and responsible.
• Possess skills in basic computer programs including email, word processors and spreadsheets.
