Description: Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the teaching position of STEM Cybersecurity.

 

Qualifications: This teaching position requires a Bachelor’s Degree with a valid teaching Certificate in Technology Education or Technology Applications.

Preference will be given to applicants who:

• Have demonstrated successful teaching
• Have the ability to meet deadlines and schedules in an organized fashion
• Have advanced computer skills, communication skills, and public relations skills
• Provides content-related and appropriate instruction based on state curriculum through a combination of classroom, laboratory, and co-curricular activities.
• Maintains expertise in subject area and attends professional development
• Manages and maintains a clean, effective, and professional learning environment and equipment

 

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable. 

 

Salary: Teacher Salary Schedule: 187-day contract

            Employment begins:  July 24, 2023
