Position: Help Desk Manager
Description: The Mesquite Independent School District is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Help Desk Manager for the Technical Services Department. The appointee will report directly to the Technical Services Department Manager and will be responsible for the successful operation and management of the district Help Desk.
Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants who:
- have previous supervisory experience.
- possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
- demonstrate effective communication, public relation, and interpersonal skills.
- possess extensive knowledge and experience in repairing computers and related equipment.
- demonstrate knowledge and have experience troubleshooting operating systems Windows, OSX, iOS, Chrome OS and Android.
- have experience with software and related tools used in a call center.
- possess strong remote troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
- possess the ability to work in a high pressure environment.
- are willing to work overtime as needed.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
Salary: Pay Range: $47,912 - $56,121; 226 day contract
Employment begins: January 14, 2019 or as soon as possible
