Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Art teacher.

Qualifications:  Valid Texas Teaching Certificate. (Art Education)

Preference will be given to applicants who:

• have demonstrated successful teaching/student teaching experience
• have knowledge of effective instructional strategies
• exhibit the ability to organize and implement a highly effective program
• possess a knowledge and understanding of technology as it relates to the art program and related duties
• appreciate, understand, and value multicultural and ethnic diversity
• demonstrate effective communication, public relation, and interpersonal skills

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary:  Teacher Pay Scale
