Description:    Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the teaching position of Business

Qualifications: The teacher will need to meet the requirements under the Texas Education Agency teacher certificate guidelines.

This teaching position requires a Bachelor’s Degree with a valid teaching Certificate in any business or office education, Business and Finance Grades 6-12 or Business Education Grades 6-12. 

Preference will be given to applicants who:

• Have demonstrated successful teaching
• Have the ability to meet deadlines and schedules in an organized fashion
• Maintains expertise in the subject area and attends professional development
• Manages and maintains a clean, effective, and professional learning environment and equipment

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable. 

Salary: Teacher Salary Schedule: 187-day contract

            Employment begins: August 1, 2021
