Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the teaching position of Criminal Justice instructor.
Qualifications: The Criminal Justice teacher will need to meet the requirements under the Texas Education Agency teacher certificate guidelines for Trade and Industrial Education. Work or field experience may be substituted for this requirement if deemed appropriate by the district.

- Provide content-related and appropriate instruction based on state curriculum through a combination of classroom, laboratory, and co-curricular activities.
- Demonstrates expertise in subject area and embraces professional development opportunities.
- Understands the importance of promoting and securing student certification.
- Maintain a clean, effective, and professional learning environment.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
Salary: Pay Range: Teacher Salary Schedule: 187 day contract
