Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of teacher for the summer English I and II EOC Acceleration.  The appointee will report to the campus facilitator.

Qualifications:  Preference will be given to applicants who:

• have demonstrated successful experience as a classroom teacher
• have knowledge of high school English/Language Arts curriculum
• demonstrate effective communication, public relation, and interpersonal skills
• certification to teach English I and II

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary:  $25.00 per hour

Days of

Employment: 

• June 1 - June 21, 2021; Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
• Required staff development to be determined by campus principal. EOC test days
• June 22 - 25, 2021 (If needed). 
• Location:  All five high schools
