Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the teaching position of Technology Education (STEM).  

The teacher will need to meet the requirements under the Texas Education Agency teacher certificate guidelines.

This teacheing position requires a Bachelor's Degree with a valid teaching Certificate in Technology Education

Preference will be given to applicants who:

• Have demonstrated successful teaching 
• Possess knowledge of Adobe CC, Circuitry, Computer Graphics, Digital Communications, Mechanics & Structure, Robotics & Control Technology, Scientific Data & Analysis, Software Engineering & Sustainability
• Have the ability to meet deadlines and schedules in an organized fashion
• Have advanced computer, communication, and pubic relation skills
• Provides content-related and appropriate instruction based on state curriculum through a combination of classroom. laboratory, and co-curricular activities
• Maintains expertise in subject area and attends professional development
• Manages and maintains a clean, effective, and professional learning environment and equipment

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary:  Pay Range:  Teacher Salary Schedule:  187 day contract

Employment begins:  August 6, 2020 or until postion filled
