Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Technician of Compliance and Technology.  The appointee will report directly to the Director of Food and Nutrition Services and will be responsible for implementing, training, and supporting the point-of-sale (POS) hardware; includes all POs and inventory software systems, manage, TXUNPS, and perform quality assurance audits.

Qualifications:  This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Preference will given to applicants who:

__have extensive knowledge and competence with computers, printers, and scanners and computer

   systems utilizing hardware and software

__have the ability to meet deadlines and schedules in an organized fashion

__exhibits competencies in word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail and other Food Service

   software applications

__demonstrate effective communication (verbal and written), public relations and interpersonal skills

__have experience with performing kitchen audits

__possess strong analytical and organizational skills

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary:  Pay Range:  FNS - Pay Grade 6
